Kiln-dried oak is machined to house the glazed units, which can be oiled to retain colour and texture, or simply left to weather to a mellow, silvery grey.

Larger structures often require the main frame to be manufactured from fresh sawn Oak. The glazed units are then fitted between the main supports and incorporate an expanding weatherproof seal
