Based near Presteigne, a former market
town on the Welsh borders, we specialise in the manufacture
of high quality Oak framed buildings for the home and garden.
Our frames are carefully crafted so as to ensure that traditional
methods are adopted whilst keeping costs down to a sensible
level.
Our team of framers and carpenters take great pride in producing
buildings which are both practical and beautiful. Each frame
is manufactured from restoration grade Oak using time honoured
methods such as drawpegged mortice and tenons and halving
joints. Knee braces, cruck frames, vaulted ceilings, exposed
beams and joists – to name but a few characteristics
which add to the charm and beauty of an Oak framed building. |
We work closely with our clients during the manufacture
of the frame and keep them updated with progress. This
is usually very helpful for contractors and clients with
regard to any groundworks or other aspect of the project
which may require a deadline or preferred delivery date.
Whilst many of our projects are from dealing direct with
our clients, we work very closely with architects, builders
and developers who are acting on their own clients behalf.
